Start Sailing
Perfect for first-time sailors. Learn fundamental sailing theory, boat handling, and safety procedures.
- Introduction to sailing terminology and parts of a boat.
- Basic knots and sail trim techniques.
- Safety procedures and man overboard recovery.
- Learn the fundamental skills of sailing a dinghy.
- Children aged 7-12 may participate if registered with a parent/guardian.
Tackers
Non-competitive learning through games in a supportive environment with structured sessions plans and levels of achievements.
- Provide children aged 7-12 with a fun, safe and affordable way to get into sailing.
- Ensures children build confidence and interest in continuing to be involved in sailing.
- Tacker courses are yet to be announced. Refer to the Start Sailing program.
