Discover Sailing Dinghy courses are tailored for both teenagers and adults, and involve sailing on small boats (two crew vessels). Familes are encouraged to learn together, including children aged from 8 years (accompanied by one or more parent/guardian). The 12 hour course (held over three consecutive Saturdays) is subject to a fee of $200 per person. 2026 Winter Series The series is a stand-alone event run over 4 Sundays 17th May 2026 31st May 2026 14th June2026 28th June 2026 Two races are scheduled for each day. Back-to-Back. 1st warning will not be made before 12-30pm Up to Three races may be sailed on any one day at the discretion of the Course Race Officer. But the series will not be more than one race ahead of the schedule.
