Australian Sailing Participation Workshop

Australian Sailing’s Alison Turner will be visiting LCSC on Saturday 21 Sept between 10:00am and 4:00pm. The agenda for her visit is as follows:
- Discover Sailing Centre Presentation (Review) 10am – 12 noon
- Lunch Break
- Participation Workshop 1 – 4pm
The purpose of the visit is to review (and possibly re-boot) our club’s previous commitment to the Discover Sailing program which is designed to attract new people to the sport of sailing. The afternoon session will focus on discussing other ideas on how best to grow interest in the sport of sailing and in particular attract new sailing members to our club. Everyone is welcome to attend, so if you are interested in the adult and junior learn to sail programs it would be really good to see you at the club that day. You should also attend if you are more generally interested in the future of the sport and what we as a club should be doing to encourage participation.
A light lunch will be provided.
